too esoteric?

"The world is a yawning chasm filled with the puerile meanderings of sentience."
This blog is one or two of those meanderings...

...and i may touch on the video-gaming industry.

This is a typical Chris Brown supporter on Twitter. This makes me so sad.
He beat Rihanna so severely, he put her in the hospital, and there are people in the world who are totally okay with that because he’s a famous musician. Well, I am not one of those people. Violence against women is never, ever, ever okay. Chris Brown should be shunned from public life, as should all batterers.

Wil I wholeheartedly agree with you.

a friend of mine recently told me he had heard a theory that it takes 21 days to learn a new habit. and that if there is something about yourself you would like to change then you should wear a wristband or somesuch, and everytime you catch yourself doing or not doing that thing you would like to change about yourself you should move the wristband to the other wrist. the aim is to wear the wristband on the same wrist for 21 days straight.

i was pretty fascinated by this. im not sure as to the validity of the theory but its a good idea even if it is false. so ive started this process with a ring i bought while i was in vietnam.

it changed hands many times on the first evening but now its been on my right hand for almost a day.

also the last quote was from ‘deep impact’

“(BANG) ‘Who’s Keyser Söze?’ ‘Aw GODDAMNIT!’”

It’s coming

A more substantial post is in the midst of being worked on and will be posted soon enough.

Answer: The monkey boss from lylat wars. That game was truly cinematic.

Quote: “Hey Fish? Why the hell do they call you Fish?”

Blogger’s Minigame

At the end of each post I’ll put a quote and this quote will be from a film or video-game (on occasion i may branch out to other media to increase the difficulty). If you would take some enjoyment from it then please try to guess where the quote is from, send your answers to ilikepastaorama@gmail.com. Just before putting the next quote i will write the answer to the previous quote in the following post. Try to get it right before i update with the answer.

This is a game my brother and I greatly enjoy playing during our email correspondence. Yes, yes we are nerds.  And I for one have been loving it consistently for years now. Though I do have that ‘never been punched in the face’ air of arrogance with it so maybe I’m wrong to be quite so comfortable with it.

I’ll begin with what may or may not be an easy one:

“Can’t let you do that Starfox.”

There’s a tiny little photo of me to the left of the browser bar. This gave me a warm feeling, though i can’t understand why. I think I’ll like it here.
